on an adventure.

Have you ever just decided to hop in the car with no plan in mind but to drive?

Yesterday I did just that.

Of course I had my two accomplices with me along with my camera and a cup of coffee. 

(Jeff had a really long work day that day)

We set out without a clue on where we were headed...but of course my car took me towards the ocean.

Avery had fallen asleep when I pulled into this little area so I hopped out and snapped a few shots of the cold, still ocean. Not a boat in sight!

(Riley was dancing in the back seat hoping I'd let him out for a quick swim...sorry buddy not happening)

There was a giant driftwood log. If I could have picked it up and put it in my car I would have.

As we drove up the coast I pulled in a few places to check them out. Lots of pretty parks right on the ocean with playgrounds...we'll be returning in the spring for sure!

I attempted to get everyone out of the car to stretch their legs. There was a sign that said dog's must remain on a leash...Riley does not do well on a leash he is use to running free and comes on command pretty well.

So picture me with a 100 pound dog dragging me across a park because he smelled salt water and a 20 pound toddler running behind me trying to hold my hand.

Needless to say that excursion didn't last long.

It was fun not having a plan and just driving. You stumble across some pretty cool things.
